Paul Rubinson is Professor of History at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts. He is the author of Redefining Science: Scientists, the National Security State, and Nuclear Weapons in Cold War America (2016, University of Massachusetts Press) and Rethinking the American Antinuclear Movement (2017, Routledge). His articles have appeared in Diplomatic History, Cold War History, Isis, and the Journal of Russian-American Studies. His new book American Scientists and Human Rights from the Early Republic to the Cold War is forthcoming from Cambridge University Press in April 2027.
